Ohannes Montgomery

Ohannes Montgomery better known as “Boy Warrior” started his acting career in 2018. He is

from the city of Simi Valley, California and the youngest of five siblings. His origins derive

from Mescalero Apache (Spanish Indian) and Irish descent. Ohannes tight network is his family:

parents Elaina and Swan, his sister Sultria, and Grandmother Carol. Ohannes’ love for acting

stems from his late grandfather that was also an actor, Stanley Griego (RIP). Mr. Griego always

knew Ohannes has it him and encouraged him to act and to chase his dream. The seed planted in

him has led him to acting, model, voice-over acting, stunt and combat acting.

Ohannes also known as Boy Warrior is currently in the 5

th grade and attending the Will WallaceActing Company and Stunt and Stage Combat schools in his journey to pursue a lifetime career.

His fist roll commenced on an Amazon documentary called “Boy Warrior” that led him to start

on the movie “Boy Warrior 2 TKD Gold”; a spin off the documentary. In addition, his

enrollment in the Warrior TKD (taekwondo) and Chatsworth Karate training has given him

opportunities to spar with UFC fighter BJ Penn, been in a UFC gym promo with Bellator fighter

Brandon Bender, a few training sessions with Luis Mercado (from Breaking Bad), and been

invited by William Zabka to work on Cobra Kai show. Throughout his short time within the

acting arena he has learned to value his career as an actor by developing discipline, learned that

perseverance is key to achieving goals, created the ability to deliver raw emotions based on life

experiences, and obtained from Martial Arts the ability to increase memorization to his

photographic memory. His determination has also landed him part in the music video for Tate

McRae & Khalid “Working”.

The most interesting thing to Ohannes career is his motivation driven by God, his family, and his

love for life. He has learned, at such a young age, to strive and love life under his own

experiences and most importantly believing that faith is over hope. Ohannes life lesson comes

from his struggle with Auto Inflammatory Disease specific to Periodic Fever Syndrome. This

experience has taken him in and out of hospitals just the same way he can go in and out of

character, giving him the ability to transform into someone else many times hiding the trauma

and pain from this disease. Ohannes has also learned to dip into those emotions and think

outside the box to deliver his work as an actor. Nonetheless, he also strives to live life helping

others with his “Ohannes Project”. This project is dedicated to collect stuffed animals and

blankets to pass out during the holidays at nursing homes where he has the opportunity spend

time with elders left behind in nursing homes. In his busy schedule, Ohannes spends his leisure

time trying new things and has a few hobbies like: surfing, martial arts (Taekwondo, Tang Soo

Do, Hapkido, Krav maga, Jiu Jitsu, Karate, and Kickboxing), gaming, skate boarding, piano, and

electric guitar. His favorite places to visit are Ireland and London where he has lots of family

and three siblings: Jay Jay, Layla and Marcus and his aunt Yvonne. Ohannes motto is,

“Remember it only takes a minute of love to change someone’s life, even if they are at the end”.
